Certified Cell provides consignment pre-owned phone inventory to wireless retailers and repair shops all over the United States. We support and believe in independent business owners and allow them the opportunity to increase revenue without taking a huge inventory risks. We are business owners, sales leaders, operational specialists, and marketing magicians and we are ready to help!

 

Why we do what we do

Adding diversity to your inventory can be costly, especially when you are talking about cell phones. Offering pre-owned phones opens the risk of locked, stolen, and damaged devices which are frustrating, stressful, and expensive. We knew we could come up with a better way that would benefit both wholesalers and retailers.

We offer cell phones on consignment to trusted partners. You don’t pay us until you get paid.

Reliability

We have strong relationships with carriers to acquire top of the line pre-owned devices. We certify each phone through and ensure that it is of excellent quality and grading. We are constantly acquiring diverse inventory from some of the newest active models all the way down to the value options at the bottom end of the scale. Oh, and we also happen to offer a warranty on all devices we send to your shop!

Risk Reduction

We take on the inventory risk of sending you devices on consignment. You have the flexibility to name your own price for the phone to your customer, giving you the freedom to profit what you would like from each unit. Once you sell the device, you pay us our portion. We also make tracking inventory easy by giving you access to our custom platform to view devices and process sales with a few clicks of a mouse.

Revenue

On average, wireless retailers and repair shops have an average ticket value of over $500 for phone sales so we know you’re going to experience revenue growth with Certified Cell. With our complimentary marketing materials and dedicated account managers, we help equip your store to be a sales machine! If it doesn’t work out, no problem! Send the devices back and you pay nothing for the phones you didn’t sell.

Joshua Hample

Chief Executive Officer

Joshua Hample is a strategic leader and serial entrepreneur. He’s always had an itch for starting businesses and ran a successful painting company while obtaining his degree in entrepreneurial management. Since then, Joshua has not stopped hustling and the foundation of his knowledge of the mobile phone industry began when he was the VP of Sales for a Sprint Preferred Retailer and has continued during his time consulting for wireless repair shops. “Founder” is a title he has had several times, as Joshua was previously the co-founder of a custom application development and digital advertising company in addition to his current founding roles at Certified Cell and Mobilize for Good, an innovative new fundraising platform for nonprofits. He spends his days at Certified Cell helping redefine how the wireless industry interacts cohesively between sales, repair, maintenance, and resale of devices while bridging the gap between new concepts and the operational systems required to execute them successfully.

Brandon Price

Director of Operations

Brandon Price is a thoughtful and meticulous operations professional with over 13 years in the Wireless Retail Industry. Brandon has held a wide variety of positions from sales representative, store manager, and his current position as the Director of Operations for Certified Cell. Brandon is a decorated industry professional and was named Midlands 40 under 40 in 2017. His primary focus is to increase overall agility through systems thinking to better serve our customers and stake holders. Brandon has a track record of success and is quick to assess, develop, and implement goal-oriented plans. He was selected to oversee all company operations including supply chain, vendor relations, IT infrastructure and physical store builds. Brandon is a hardworking, loyal employee willing to help in any area of the business he can.

Sarah Nagengast

Director of Marketing

Sarah is a transformation-oriented marketing communications leader. As an award-winning marketing professional, Sarah has spent her career proving her skills as a leader in the field with a reputation for KPI success. As a former Vice President of Operations for VanderPump Dogs Foundation, she helped build the brand from conception to a thriving organization with an annual operating budget of over $2 million dollars. In her most recent position, she increased the nonprofits fundraising revenue by more than 400 percent through her digital campaign strategy. She is highly skilled in multiple disciplines like graphic design, video editing, and copy writing. Sarah is focused on organization growth through storytelling and is a confident decision-maker with a strong marketing gut.

 

Troy Ullrich

Operations Manager

Troy is an exceptional operations professional with over 8 years of experience in the mobile device industry. As the General Manager at iFixOmaha, Troy showcased his exceptional leadership skills by successfully driving double-digit growth in consecutive years. He adeptly managed budgets, contracts, and customer relationships, ensuring optimal outcomes and maintaining a solid reputation for the company. Prior to working at iFixOmaha, Troy held multiple positions at Jet Mobile LLC, including District Sales Manager, where he consistently surpassed sales targets while spearheading the successful opening of new locations. He expertly coached his teams to maximize performance and fostered a culture of excellence. Troy's deep understanding of the mobile phone industry has been instrumental in consistently delivering exceptional results for Certified Cell.

Tyler Shunk

Senior Account Executive

Tyler Shunk is a dedicated Senior Account Executive hailing from Valley, NE. Having completed his high school education in his hometown, Tyler went on to earn his degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. With a solid background in the wireless industry spanning over six years, Tyler is the Senior Account Executive at Certified Cell, where he thrives on building personal connections with clients and takes immense pride in providing exceptional partner care to Certified Cell’s retail partners. Tyler's journey in the wireless industry began with his role at Sam's Club from 2012 to 2015. He then ventured into a new opportunity with JetMobile, a Sprint partner. With his vast experience and expertise, Tyler joined Certified Cell almost a year ago and has since been actively contributing to the company's success and continued to grow the number of retail locations that Certified Cell provides services to.
